Mozartkugeln was invented in Salzburg, Austria in 1890 by the pastry chef Fürst, who dedicated it to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and won a gold price at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1905.

Schluckwerder Mozartkugeln consists of a core of marzipan and Pistachio- Marzipan, filled with smooth Hazelnut-Praline and covered with a 2 layers of milk chocolate and dark chocolate coating.
